4 tips to brighten up your dining table

We haven’t given up on summer just yet. With the Bank Holiday to come, it’s the perfect time to brighten up your dining space with some florals.
We’ve rounded up the most stylish ways to dress your table for these final days of summer with our friends at the healthy food box company  Mindful Chef.

MIX AND MATCH

Using vases of different heights and shapes creates a whimsical and fun look for any home. Be creative and use old bottles of wine or glasses for a bohemian look.  This easy and affordable option is perfect for single stems in different colours.

SAY IT WITH FLOWERS

Introduce flowers to your dinner guests’ by making little posy placement cards that can double up as party-favours to be taken home at the end of the evening. You could also consider sending mini posies as invitations. If you want to go floral all the way, invitations or name cards can be made of plantable wild flower seed paper.

THINK OUTSIDE THE VASE

Set the perfect table by mixing flowers with matching tableware. Then just add some delicious food, voilà! We like to use one of our favourite late summer blooms, Dahlias, in different shapes and variations.

STRUCTURE AND SOFTNESS

Use a focal flower with grass for contrast between structure and softness. A perfect combination for a simple and cute table decoration
