Team Little Bud has partnered with our friends at UNICEF Next Generation so that you give a little love to mothers in need when you order your flowers for Mother’s Day.
When you order your Mother’s Day bunch you can add a donation to initiatives aiding mothers before and after pregnancy, supported by UNICEF’s NEXTGeneration. Projects include providing midwifery equipment necessary for preventing the transmission of the HIV virus from mother to baby. This includes essential midwifery kit with all of the medicines, medical supplies and sterilisation equipment for a maternity ward alongside basic screening test kits.
We’ll let the recipient of your flowers know about your donation in a small note attached to your bunch. Just order before 5pm 25th March, and we’ll make sure that they arrive safely with the mum of your choice (£5 for deliveries all across London).
UNICEF NEXTGeneration is a global UNICEF initiative bringing together diverse groups of young professionals, aged 21 to 40, who are committed to helping transform the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children. Read more about their programs here.
This isn’t the first time Little Bud and UNICEF NEXTGeneration has teamed up. Back in January, we had tonnes of fun doing a ‘wild woodland’ botanical decor for their annual fundraiser. Read more about it here.
Want to do something even more special for Mother’s Day? Little Bud has also partnered with our friends at the Social Pantry, to host a hand-tied bouquet and button hole making workshop. Taking place in the evening of Tuesday 28th (two days after Mother’s Day), it’s a perfect gift for the occasion!
You’ll learn how to make hand-tied bouquets and buttonholes, whilst being provided with delicious snacks bottomless prosecco. Get your tickets from Eventbrite here.
